Intro to Filmmaking Ages 9-11 (Week 3)

Lights, camera, ACTION! Students will learn how to develop a plot, create props to set the scene and collaborate with others to create a short film. Students will be introduced to a variety of filming and editing techniques. Join us on the last day of camp for the World Premiere of this week’s films. Note: Students will use cameras and MacBooks provided by the EAC. Students are welcome to bring in personal cameras.

 

Ceramic Handbuilding Ages 9-11 (Week 2)

Explore the exciting and versatile medium of clay! This camp will introduce students to foundational ceramic hand-building skills. Students will explore and experiment with methods like pinching, coiling, and creating slabs to craft a variety of objects. Throughout the week, students will work on diverse projects. Completed works will be available for pick up approximately 2 weeks after the camp concludes. Caregivers will receive email notifications when projects are ready for pick-up. 

 

Recycled Sculptures Ages 9-11 (Week 1)

Build, sculpt, and shape your creativity! This camp is dedicated to the realm of 3D art and sculpture. Students will explore various materials including recycled items, natural materials, and paper to craft unique recycled sculptures. This week will inspire students to explore different techniques and deepen their understanding of 3D forms.
