Cosmic Explorers Ages 4-5 (Week 5)

Blast off on a colorful adventure to outer space! This week’s theme is focused on the wonders of space exploration. Campers will journey through stars, planets, and galaxies on an artistic rocket ship bound for the final frontier. Projects will involve a variety of mixed media materials such as oil pastels, acrylic paint, and watercolors to encourage campers to experiment to infinity and beyond!

Explore the worlds of visual and auditory expression! This week focuses on the exciting connection between sound and art. Campers will learn about famous painters influenced by music including Henri Matisse, Piet Mondrian, and others. From sound-inspired sculptures to instrumental collages, students will create art projects inspired by music and engage in a multisensory experience!
