Tamara Wasserman

Tamara Wasserman is a contemporary painter, mixed media artist, curator, and
performer.

Tamara was born in Riga, Latvia, and raised in Riga and Jerusalem. She holds a
BFA in Painting from the Bezalel Art Academy, Jerusalem. She moved to
Chicago in 1990. Wasserman has maintained a studio at Bridgeport Art Center in
Chicago from 2012 to 2024. Currently she paints in her home studio in Oak Park,
Illinois.


Tamara has had many solo and group exhibitions in galleries, art centers and
museums in Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, Boston, and Ann
Arbor.

In 2024 Wasserman's painting "HEAD FULL OF MEMORIES" was purchased by
the St. Regis Hotel in New York City
