Course Description:
Come Clay with Me: Embark on a creative journey with your child, learning basic ceramic and glazing techniques in this versatile medium. As your child grows, continue in future sessions where you and your child can fine-tune your skills and develop more intricate projects. Parents, grandparents, and caretakers are welcome, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared experiences.

Course Description:
Darkroom printing for the uninitiated! If you have yet to discover the magic that the darkroom can offer, photograms are a great introduction. For those who already know, you are still invited to come experiment, play, and make some one of a kind photograms with us.

Course Description:
For those of you who love to be outdoors and absorb a little sunlight–so does the cyanotype! In this one day workshop, we will take a nature walk together to collect materials, which we will then use to create our prints.

Design Print Bind Your Own Artist’s Book Teen Workshop Ages 14-18
Course Description:
Starting with blank paper and your imagination, learn to hand print and make your own artists’ books. You will combine elements of design, screen printing, origami, and good old cut-and-paste to make two books that stretch and collapse, make sound and a little magic.

Intermediate Woodworking for Adults
Course Description:
Building upon the information, tools, and techniques covered in the Basic Woodworking class or for new students with previous woodworking experience. Students will continue working on current projects as well as beginning new ones approved by the instructor. Understanding wood and wood movement, purchasing raw lumber, furniture joinery, finishing techniques, and a thorough understanding of hand and power tools in today’s woodworking shops will be explored. Students will be expected to purchase their own materials for their projects.
Basic Woodworking for Adults
Course Description:
Includes a comprehensive review of tools and techniques for beginning wood workers. Hand and Power tools, joinery, and finishes with be explored. You are encouraged to purchase and fabricate at least one woodworking project. Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials including Wood, glass, hardware, and any other items needed for their piece[s].

Intro to Woodturning for Adults
Course Description:
Introduction to the joy of creating useful and artful objects of wood on the lathe. Students will learn the basics of woodturning and create several small projects. Instructor’s demonstrations alternate with guided practice at the lathe, students learning at their own pace. Tools and materials provided. Essentials of safety will be emphasized.
Skill Level: Beginner
