In this three-session workshop, you’ll explore the foundations of color theory as both an art and a science. Through hands-on exercises and guided practice, you’ll learn how colors mix, match, and contrast, while gaining a deeper understanding of value, hue, chroma, and temperature. We’ll learn about different color systems (CMYK, RGB, HSB, grayscale), experiment with shade, tone, and tint, and practice strategies for color dominance and harmony.

Adaptive ceramics is a starting point for everyone that may be apprehensive, allowing students to become comfortable and familiar with clay. Grow, learn, and become confident in what you create. Pinch, Slab, Coil: Ceramic Handbuilding

Learn pinch, coil, and slab techniques to create a variety of projects ranging from functional vessels to sculptural forms, figures, and tiles. Paint and carve while exploring with slips and glazes. Historical and contemporary artists will be introduced for inspiration. More advanced students will be encouraged to hone their skills and develop projects.
