Course Description:

Young filmmakers will team up to dive into the world of storytelling and movie production. Throughout the week, campers will practice filming and editing, learn how to build compelling plots, write engaging scripts, and design their own props. Families are invited to celebrate the big finale, a special World Premiere featuring the films created during camp. Note: Cameras and MacBooks will be provided by the EAC, though students may bring personal cameras if they wish.

Sharpen your observational skills and bring the world around you to life on paper! This intensive teaches students the fundamentals of drawing from still-life objects, figure studies, and environments. Learn techniques in proportion, perspective, shading, and composition while developing a personal artistic style through hands-on practice. Note: A live clothed model may be used in some sessions.

Ceramic Handbuilding Ages 12-14 (Week 6)

Course Description:

Discover the art of ceramic hand-building! In this camp, students will explore various techniques, including pinch, slab, and coil methods. Throughout the week, participants will create a range of projects while gaining essential skills in ceramic hand-building. Completed works will be available for pick-up approximately two weeks after the camp ends, and caregivers will receive email notifications when projects are ready.

Fashion Illustration Ages 12-14 (Week 6)

Course Description:

Attention all future designers! This week is dedicated to aspiring fashion designers eager to explore the art of drawing fashion figures and bringing their design concepts to life. Using markers, colored pencils, watercolors, and more, students will tap into their creativity to develop and illustrate a one-of-a-kind clothing collection. Participants will learn how to select design themes, choose colors, and pick fabrics. The final project will be a lookbook of completed designs.

 

Watercolor Studio Ages 12-14 (Week 5)
