Starting with blank paper and your imagination, learn to hand print and make your own artists’ books. You will combine elements of design, screen printing, origami, and good old cut-and-paste to make two books that stretch and collapse, make sound and a little magic.
Photograms: One-Off Photography Ages 9-14
Course Description:
Darkroom printing for the uninitiated! If you have yet to discover the magic that the darkroom can offer, photograms are a great introduction. For those who already know, you are still invited to come experiment, play, and make some one of a kind photograms with us.

Painting and Drawing Explorations Ages 6-9
Course Description:
Come join us for creative play with new and old favorites - from crayons to pastels, watercolors to acrylics - we'll try them all! In this course, we will also explore early art principles such as balance, contrast, movement, and pattern. This course is perfect for students who wish to explore a variety of media and techniques. Students will complete unique pieces to highlight their studies with each medium. All pieces will be brought home by the end of the course. Let the creativity begin!
3D Modeling and Printing Ages 10-15
Course Description:
You will learn the basics of 3D modeling in the software TinkerCAD, a free access software. This class will explore the design methodology and the potential of the technique itself. Experiment on different materials and combine electronics with LED, sensors, motors... You will use the 3D printer to turn the ideas into reality, and bring home your own design works.
Observational Drawing Ages 11-14
Course Description:
Coordinate your hand and eye while mastering still life, natural landscapes, and portraiture. All skill levels are welcome as students develop fundamental drawing skills while working with charcoal, pencils, pen and ink, and oil pastel. This class covers line, shapes, perspective,composition, shading and light.
Beginning Drawing Ages 9-13
Course Description:
Students begin to learn drawing fundamentals such as line, perspective, proportion, and composition. They explore different materials and techniques as they draw from observation and imagination. RETURN STUDENTS WELCOME! The teacher works individually with students to develop skills and creative ideas.
