This class is for students who want to improve their figure drawing and portraiture skills. Through guided instruction, students will focus on proportions and simplifying shapes to create realistic renderings. This class will delve into gesture drawing, line quality, and shading. All levels are welcome! Note: A live clothed model may be used for some sessions.

Teen Metalsmithing Ages 12-16

Course Description:

Perfect for the novice and aspiring metalsmith. We will explore the field of contemporary jewelry, and how to create unique, one-of-a-kind and/or conceptual pieces. Learn basic fabrication skills such as using a jeweler’s saw, drilling, filing, sanding, polishing, soldering, riveting, basic forming and color.

Ceramics for Teens Ages 12-17

Course Description:

Learn the basics using both the wheel and hand-building techniques. Wheel techniques will begin with simpler forms including a cylinder, bowl, and plate leading into more in-depth processes. Hand building will include pinch pots, coil, and slab. You will receive direction and encouragement to expand on areas of your own interest.

Come Clay with Me: Caregivers and Kids Ages 3-5

Come Clay with Me: Embark on a creative journey with your child, learning basic ceramic and glazing techniques in this versatile medium. As your child grows, continue in future sessions where you and your child can fine-tune your skills and develop more intricate projects. Parents, grandparents, and caretakers are welcome, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared experiences.
