Individual coaching on the drawing and painting aspects of portrait painting. Focus on developing your drawing skills only or develop your abilities to render the model in color. Bring drawing and or painting materials of your choice to the first class for poses lasting 2 to 3 weeks.

In this multi-level jewelry class, a different technique will be demonstrated each week to develop and enhance skills in fabrication. Students work on their own projects with input and feedback from the instructor.

This course is designed with the advanced student in mind, preferably those with prior lost wax casting experience. Creative casting instructions will be provided with the understanding that self-initiation and commitment will be the keys to receiving the maxim benefits of the course. It is anticipated that students will cast 2 times at 4 week intervals, which is at an accelerated pace. In addition and with time permitting, advice will also be offered regarding design, fabrication challenges, stone setting, and finishing techniques.

This course is designed for students interested in all aspects of lost wax casting, regardless of experience or skill level, and Advanced Students pursuing individual projects. Advanced Students need to be proficient in fabrication and finishing techniques. Assistance will be offered to all regarding design, unique bezel challenges and gemstone settings. We will cast lost wax projects at least once during each term. Lost Wax Casting Students, all skill levels welcomed. Advanced Students, Intermediate to Advanced skill levels.

Create unique 3D forms for jewelry and objects by learning to combine hammered metal forms with construction techniques. Perfect your soldering skills by learning to properly fit complex curves and edges. Forming processes include sinking, raising, fold-forming, anticlastic forming, and forging.
