Learn pinch, slab, and coil techniques to create a variety of projects from functional vessels to sculptural forms, figures, and tiles. Explore carving and painting with slips and glazes. More experienced students can explore altering their pieces and honing their skills. Historical and contemporary artists will be introduced for inspiration. Beginning and intermediate level students are welcome.

By studying historical examples of great work, we'll learn how to move beyond simply copying from photos and move into new creative avenues.
