High School: Painting Intensive (Week 8)
This week is perfect for beginner to intermediate students looking to enhance their painting skills, as well as advanced students interested in pursuing art at the college level. This course is designed to build proficiency and confidence in working with wet media, including acrylic and watercolor paints. All materials will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their preferred supplies.
High School: Ceramic Handbuilding (Week 7)
Dive into the versatile medium of clay! Students will learn hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction, as well as various underglazing methods to create vibrant pieces. This class offers a comprehensive understanding of ceramic hand-building. Note: Completed projects will be available for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the camp concludes, and caregivers will receive an email notification once the projects are ready.
High School: Painting & Drawing Plein Air Intensive (Week 6)
Embark on a week-long artistic exploration! Each day brings a new adventure as students immerse themselves in the beauty of various Evanston and North Shore locations, including Northwestern University, the Baha'i Temple, and the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
Students will meet at the following locations:
Monday- Halim Museum of Time
Tuesday- Northwestern University
Wednesday- Baha'i Temple
Thursday- Wagner Farm
Friday- Botanic Gardens
