Course Description:

Come take your jewelry to the next level with vacuum casting. We will learn how to carve, mold and manipulate wax and other items, for the lost wax casting process. Using the force of a vacuum machine to help suck the metal down into the  void to create the unique metal piece. You will be able to cast found objects and will learn how to make molds in order to make multiples of your designs. We will even experiment with some alternative casting techniques such as, Sand Casting,  Splash Casting, Cuttle Fish Casting, and more! Group demonstrations, participation, and one-on-one discussions with your instructor will help create a fun and exciting environment to experiment with new techniques and designs.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops.
