Ten-week class beginning March 30, 2018
This class is intended for students with previous fabrication experience who want to further creativity and aesthetic judgement while creating jewelry. Surface treatments explored throughout the session will include: Keum-Boo, granulation, reticulation, etching, marriage metal, powder, coating, color pencil, spray paint and patinas. The instructor will work with individual students to facilitate the techniques learned into the student’s design and concept. Samples of each technique is encouraged, and utilizing multiple techniques into completed projects. Not all sessions will include demos to allow for creative exploration with the instructor nearby.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops. A $75 Independent Study membership is required to participate in the Independent Study Program. The Evanston resident discount no longer applies.
