Artist, Coach and Agent, Gwenda Joyce, offers a special one-day intensive, 10am – 5pm, on submitting successful gallery proposals
Join us at the Smart Museum of Art beginning second Fridays October-December, 2014. We will read and discuss Joshua Decter's new book Art is a Problem. The group will begin by discussing the
preface, introduction, and first 3 chapters of Decter's book. The Smart is located at the University of Chicago, 5550 S. Greenwood Ave., Chicago, IL. 60637

The Art Center offers classes in many different disciplines for all ages and experience levels. Please ask us about financial aid and scholarships.

EVANSTON ART CENTER IDENTIFIES AN IDEAL FACILITY IN EVANSTON FOR ITS FUTURE HOME
After a 3-year search for a new space, the Evanston Art Center is pleased to announce plans to move to 1717 Central Street in the spring of 2015
On June 7 the large and thriving Evanston arts community will open its studios to the general public to showcase works in progress. Arts organizations, including the Evanston Arts Center and Music Institute of Chicago, are also participating.
Our panel discussion session took place at the Evanston Art Center, and was chaired by the EAC Director of Education W. Keith Brown.
Features more than 150 artists, food and musical entertainment, plus FamilyFest, an interactive activity area for kids and families overseen by the Evanston Art Center.
Our Biennial is one of the Midwest’s largest and most prestigious juried exhibitions, offering artists an opportunity to have their work viewed by two talented curators
