Course Description:

This workshop explores the intersection between writing and art that is exploratory in nature. We will first become acquainted briefly with experimentation in writing, and then we will approach chosen pieces of art or installations on view at EAC to describe their absolute and then their possible environments. We will then immerse ourselves in these alternate environments, by shifting them and/or placing our animate or inanimate characters within them. Can you imagine the rich outcome? Bring your notebook and pen or pencil to do some writing with appropriate prompts.
