Ten-week class beginning March 23, 2026
Course Description:
This course introduces Slow Photography as a mindful approach to image-making. Students will work with both digital and film cameras, learning manual settings, light metering, low-light capture, and long exposure techniques. The course encourages thoughtful, intentional shooting over rapid capture.
Students will also explore traditional black-and-white film development in the darkroom, gaining hands-on experience with analog processes. Through a mix of technical instruction and creative experimentation, this class offers a slower, more deliberate way of seeing and making photographs.
