Course Description:

Sculpting facial expressions involves studying the underlying muscular and skeletal anatomy of the face. By altering the positioning of the eyes, brows, and mouth, you can dynamically capture six primary emotions: happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, and disgust. Create multiple masks of facial expressions using a live model, photographs, and a mirror. Students may also opt to sculpt a variety of faces from different cultures or a complete portrait. Instruction, as always, is individualized.  Let's have fun with faces!
