Course Description:

Using taxidermy borrowed from the Field Museum of Chicago and brought on-site to the EAC, we will practice drawing animals from observation. Subjects may include foxes, raccoons, owls, turkeys, skunks, and beavers.

Individual feedback is tailored to the skills and interests of each student, including students ultimately intending to work in color. Perfect for new students and experienced artists interested in expanding their subject matter. You will leave this course with finished drawings of local animal species and a system to complete fully-rendered, realistic drawings.
