Course Description:
Continuing our calligraphy practice with the broad-nib Pilot Parallel Pen, brush pen, and other materials, this class is for those who have experience with hand calligraphy and value inner equanimity. Emphasis is on the contemplative nature of artmaking, and we will bring to life our love for letters with practical exercises on paper and additional unique calligraphy projects to further our artistic expression. Prerequisite V1010 or consent of instructor.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops. A $75 Independent Study membership is required to participate in the Independent Study Program. The Evanston resident discount no longer applies.
