The 2015 ART PARTY will be the first event to take place in our new venue at 1717 Central Street. The fun begins at 6pm and lasts for hours. Party goers will be the first to experience the Art Center's new facility. There will be silent and live auctions, dinner, dancing, and wine! All proceeds benefit the Art Center's expanded arts programming, scholarships and more.
Course Description:
Starting with blank paper and your imagination, learn to hand print and make your own artists’ books. You will combine elements of design, screen printing, origami, and good old cut-and-paste to make two books that stretch and collapse, make sound and a little magic.

Learn pattern making, crochet basics, and two-strand tapestry crochet in this three day workshop. All students will walk away with one small tapestry ready to hang, as well as the skillset to keep creating and building towards larger scale artworks. Whether you are a crochet expert or brand new to the medium, this workshop will teach you how to blend the fine and fiber arts to create one of a kind pieces.

Course Description:
Bring your ideas to life with paper cut-out stop motion animation! In this hands-on workshop, you will create a storyboard, design and build your own paper characters and sets, and animate them frame by frame. By the end of the whole class, you will produce a short stop motion film complete with titles and credits.
