If you are new to either art making or screen printing—or you appreciate analog art forms like embroidery or film photography—this class is for you. 

You will learn to photo expose screens and play with images and inks to make prints. You can make a lot of them quickly, each one with slight imperfections that make it unique. Plan to play and make a few mistakes and messes along the way. You’ll have help and examples to guide you to a finished project meaningful to you.

Teen Metalsmithing Ages 12-16

Intermediate Woodworking for Adults

Course Description:

Building upon the information, tools, and techniques covered in the Basic Woodworking class or for new students with previous woodworking experience. Students will continue working on current projects as well as beginning new ones approved by the instructor. Understanding wood and wood movement, purchasing raw lumber, furniture joinery, finishing techniques, and a thorough understanding of hand and power tools in today’s woodworking shops will be explored. Students will be expected to purchase their own materials for their projects.

Basic Woodworking for Adults

Includes a comprehensive review of tools and techniques for beginning wood workers. Hand and Power tools, joinery, and finishes with be explored. You are encouraged to purchase and fabricate at least one woodworking project. Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials including Wood, glass, hardware, and any other items needed for their piece[s].
