This course aims to help students expand their creative expressions by providing a wide range of artistic styles and adaptations of book and paper arts. This course encompasses three areas of book and paper arts: papermaking, bookbinding, and artists’ books. In this hands-on, introductory course, students will learn how to form sheets of papers using the Western style, basic hand papermaking technique and different ways to manipulate the formation of sheets of paper, such as sculptural papers, pouring, embossing and embedding.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops.
