Course Description:

This class is for students with some experience in throwing and hand building. Students will be encouraged to add to their repertoire of forum and techniques - throwing "larger," adding appendages to pots, and altering thrown forms. We will explore how function - the purpose of the piece - relates to form - the shape and design of the piece. We will work with high-fire reduction stoneware. 

Skill Level: Intermediate / Advanced.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops.
