A NEW VOLUNTEER BOARD IS FORMED AT THE EVANSTON ART CENTER CALLED THE springBoard

This group of young arts enthusiasts will play an active role in the Art Center's future while learning more about arts practices, advocacy, philanthropy and community initiatives. The mission of the springBoard is to support the efforts of the Evanston Art Center through membership dues, a fundraising event, and community outreach.

The two founding members of springBoard are Anne Hayden Stevens, and artist and educator who is currently building art curriculum for the Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University and Lisa Darling who has nearly 20 years of experience in the art world – working for museums, private collectors and foreign cultural ministries – and currently works as an independent art appraiser and cultural consultant. Anne and Lisa are already planning some exciting networking events for arts enthusiasts.

If you're interested in becoming more active in the arts and your community, the Art Center's springBoard might be a good fit for you. To find out more about springBoard requirements, please call Paula Danoff at (847) 475-5300.
