A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY AND LAUNCH THE NEW EVANSTON ART CENTER

The Art Center is Looking for Great Board Members

After serving the community for 85 years, the Evanston Art Center is entering a new and exciting stage of growth as we look forward to relocating to our new facility at 1717 Central Street in Evanston. As a result, we are expanding our Board of Trustees to better encompass the skills and expertise that will be necessary to successfully navigate this strategic next step.

Your time and talents will be used to help transform and deepen the Art Center’s impact in our community through expanded multidisciplinary arts programming in education, exhibitions, and outreach. Our four areas of focus are creative youth development, arts professional development, lifelong learning, and community engagement and partnerships.

We are especially interested in speaking with potential board members who have financial, fundraising, education, marketing, design, and performance art backgrounds.  If you are interested in making a difference in the community through the Evanston Art Center, contact our executive director Norah Diedrich at [email protected] or 847-475-5300, ext. 202. Norah will be happy to answer any questions and forward your information to our Nominating Chairperson for further discussion.
