EVANSTON ART CENTER WELCOMES NEWEST STAFF MEMBER, DANA CHEN

We are pleased to announce the addition of Chicago-based designer and photographer Dana Chen as the newest member of our dynamic team of arts professionals

As the Evanston Art Center begins 2015, a pivotal year of programmatic growth and renewal with plans to move to a new facility at 1717 Central Street in May, the addition of talented staff and board members is a priority.

To that end, the Art Center has hired Ms. Chen, a designer and photographer who brings a wealth of experience to the Art Center. From 2004 through 2014, she held the positions of graphic designer and graphic design manager at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. Working professionally as a graphic designer for various organizations since 2000, she has produced an extensive portfolio of brand and identity designs, marketing materials, publications, and web design. Completed projects also include branding, logos, invitations, signage, press kits, direct mail pieces, exhibition guides, and digital media.

“Dana brings with her the ideal skill set and experience to help the Evanston Art Center reimagine its graphic identity and establishing a dynamic branding in our printed materials, on line platforms, and interior and signage of our new facility,” said Norah Diedrich, Executive Director of the Evanston Art Center.

Dana is a member of AIGA and graduated from Drake University.
