ACCESSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Everyone's welcome! The Evanston Art Center is dedicated to making arts accessible to everyone.

Building Accessibility: Our building is accessible to wheelchair users and those who need to avoid stairs with power-assist doors, an elevator, and an accessible restroom on the first floor. Contact President and CEO, Paula Danoff, at [email protected] or call 847-475-5300 to learn more about building accessibility.

Course Accessibility: Students of all abilities are welcome to enroll in any class of their choosing. We invite students with disabilities to reach out to us in advance. Contact President and CEO, Paula Danoff, at [email protected] or call 847-475-5300 to learn more about a particular class, or to request an accommodation.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Evanston Art Center is a non-profit visual arts organization, focused on scholarship, community, and public programs, and exhibitions. It sits on the traditional homelands and near waters of the people of the Council of Three Fires: the Ojibwe, Potawatomi, and Odawa, as well as the Menominee, Miami, and Ho-Chunk nations. It was also a site of trade, travel, gathering, and healing for more than a dozen other Native tribes and is still home to over 75,000 tribal members in the state of Illinois.

WE WELCOME ALL
The Evanston Art Center welcomes and respects all our community, students, artists, faculty, and staff.
