Many contemporary artists are showing that embroidery can be a radical, transformative and an exciting medium for art making. The students in Annie ZirinÔÇÖs Extreme Embroidery class take an ÔÇ£extremeÔÇØ look at embroidery, beginning with traditional stitched samplers, and moving into an exploration of new materials, concepts and projects.
