Please join Art After 5 Coordinator and celebrated artist Linda Kramer, as we visit the eclectic collection of Susann Craig. Susann has amassed an impressive collection of Outsider and Self-taught art, as well as contemporary art, and crafts from around the world. Her collection includes contemporary art by Chicago artists Roger Brown, Ellen Lanyon, Mike Noland and Hollis Sigler; work by visionary artists such as Sister Gertrude Morgan, Rev. Howard Finster and Mose Toliver; and self-taught artists Yoakum & Dawson. Architect Jeanne Gang designed Craig’s loft. It was her first project upon her return to the U.S after working with Rem Koolhaas in 1998. Don’t miss this stimulating evening of art and architecture. Craig’s collection will truly entertain everyone’s artistic tastes. Please call the Art Center at 847.475.5300 for reservations for a special evening with Susann Craig. Parking is by permit only; street parking is available at the east end of Belden on Talman, by Goethe School.

The Evanston Art Center’s Art After Five program offers Art Center members and their guests the rare opportunity to visit artists’ studios and to view private art collections in the homes of the Chicago area’s most distinguished collectors.
