Course Description:

In 1949, Pablo Picasso asked Henri Sennelier, who was making paint for artists in Paris, to come up with a medium that he could us on almost any surface without brushes.  One year late, Picasso was able to create masterpieces with the famous Sennelier oil pastels. Now used by artists all around the World who love their unique creamy quality and color intensity. There are no alternative brands. In this class, you will learn how to use them and discover all the tricks that make them so versatile.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops. A $75 Independent Study membership is required to participate in the Independent Study Program. The Evanston resident discount no longer applies.
