Course Description:
Working like an artist you’ll create a series of artworks, begin with sketches, and move on from there. Choose your own bird(s), animal(s), flower(s), and or people, and work in the medium of your choice oil, acrylic, watercolor, and or drawing medium or a combination.
In this studio-like class you’ll receive direction on scale, proportion, composition, color, and value, while creating your series. In addition you’ll also research and draw ideas from artists working in similar styles. Some drawing experience preferred, come in with your ideas and materials. Three sessions will include working from a model.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops. A $75 Independent Study membership is required to participate in the Independent Study Program. The Evanston resident discount no longer applies.
