Pam McGaghie

Pam McGaghie began her career as a medical illustrator followed by 20+ years as an art educator in Chapel Hill, NC and later at Central and Harper Schools in Wilmette, IL.  She loves teaching art to children!

B.S. in Medical Illustration, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign & Chicago

M.A. in Educational Psychology (Instructional Design), Northwestern University

Art Education Certification, Meredith College, Raleigh, NC

Area of Focus:  Art Education, Botanical illustration, portraiture

Pam’s teaching style:  She believes in giving students a joyful experience in art while teaching a strong foundation in drawing, design skills, and creativity. She considers herself a “coach” and says, “enthusiasm is the best teacher!”

Pam loves the EAC because . . . it is a wonderful community to teach and learn art with diverse students and faculty.  The EAC is a showcase for the City of Evanston.
