My painting practice engages with historic gender politics and social movements from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. By comparing these contexts with contemporary movements, my work seeks to foster discourse and establish an empowered narrative of inclusivity. My creative research focuses on the heritage of abstraction, balancing formal aesthetics with philosophical inquiry to develop a visual vocabulary centered on equality, unity, and strength.
