Luo is an interdisciplinary artist and art educator who lives and works in Chicago, IL. Her artistic practice explores cultural differences, socio-political surroundings, and the access of image/information.

Luo's teaching style:

She teaches in order to help students understand and participate in conversations generated by art, design, and visual culture as well as find connections between different media and subjects.  She enjoys helping them gain a better understanding of their feelings and grow as creative individuals, critical thinkers, and supportive community members. Her ultimate goal is to help students live their lives artistically.

Luo loves EAC because . . .

It has a supportive staff, resourceful facility, and a great family and community. Students have chances to fully engage with the project and develop their ideas.
