Course Description:

Using the foundations of photography while mastering manual exposure, this class will specifically help you develop a strong understanding of the photographic portrait. You will learn how to make compelling portraits indoors and outdoors, using different light sources, environments, and models, while also learning a bit about the social and political contexts of portraiture. In addition to exploring creative methods for photographing the human subject and creating self-portraits, you will also learn how to use Adobe Creative Suite to download, edit, sequence, and eventually present your favorite images from the course with your classmates.
