OUR NEW HOME - 1717 Central Street (a rendering by The Dobbins Group)
The interior renovation of the Art Center's new facility is well underway. A relocation date of May 2015 is right around the corner.
Our Capital Campaign, SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE, which was launched in July has raised $2,080,107 in campaign pledges. Our immediate goal is $2,500,000 to complete the renovation, purchase studio equipment, and move to the new site.
HELP US REACH OUR GOAL IN TIME. Please consider being part of this important campaign that will benefit many communities. Send a tax-deductible contribution today.

SEE BIGGER
Our longstanding committment to providing quality visual arts programming, including art classes, exhibitions, public programs, and community outreach, has earned the Art Center a national reputation as a leading provider of quality arts education and enrichment. However, our vision for the future is much bigger. We want to serve more people in more ways.
While the visual arts will remain our core focus, we will add complementary programming in culinary and language arts, design, digital fabrication, film, movement, music, performance, and more. Larger gallery spaces ideal for exhibiting installation and mixed media works, as well as special event rentals, are welcome additions. We will even have a comfortable place to sit and 'talk art,' a coffee bar named the Art Bar. Outreach efforts such as our mobile art education van, Art VanGo, will continue to provide arts and cultural programming to even wider audiences.
IMPACT
With a new facility and cross-disciplinary program agenda, we will be able to deepen our impact in four overall areas: Creative Youth Development, Lifelong Learning, Arts Professional Development, and Community Engagement and Partnerships. More people from more places will benefit from Art Center activities.
