At this virtual artist talk, guests will have the opportunity to hear from each of the artists Chris Hyndman and Carlos Melian. The artists will both talk about their work, and at the end of the event, we will have a Q&A session.

The artists will be present during the event.
The proceeds from the benefit will help the Evanston Art Center to make arts more accessible to our community by providing scholarships for students in need of financial support, and funding our exhibitions and outreach programs.

The Evanston Art Center (EAC) is excited to collaborate with students from the Academy of the Music Institute of Chicago (MIC) to create a series of four musical performances inspired by four pieces of artwork on display in the 2020 EAC Faculty Exhibition. Each string quartet will perform in the EAC First Floor Gallery in front of the artwork that inspired the piece.

Azadeh Hussaini is a Chicago-based Iranian-American visual artist and art educator. She holds an MFA in Non-´¼ügurative Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and a BFA in Painting from Azad Art University in Tehran. She is also co-founder of Didaar Art Collective, a Chicago based Iranian Artists community, and curator and board member at Theatre- Y, a Chicago based theater company.
