Course Description:
Continuing Italic students are invited to explore the labyrinth, which is endlessly adaptable for artmaking. Discover the various classical patterns of labyrinths throughout the ages, and how they can be adapted for lettering and design. The labyrinthine paths are conducive to our creativity and equanimity, and promote safety and calm. In this class we will letter beautiful words in the Italic hand along the meandering patterns of various labyrinths. Prerequisite: Italic calligraphy experience, or consent of the instructor.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops. A $75 Independent Study membership is required to participate in the Independent Study Program. The Evanston resident discount no longer applies.
