On View: March 19 - 21, 2026
Opening Reception: Thursday, March 19, 5:30-8pm
Loyola Academy is proud to partner with the Evanston Art Center to showcase the artwork of Loyola’s Advanced Placement Art and Design students. For the AP course, students engage in a sustained artistic investigation over the course of a school year to create a portfolio of artwork. Through research, experimentation, practice, and revision, the artists follow a line of inquiry to explore their ideas using materials, and artistic processes. The student inquiries are self-directed resulting in bodies of work that reflect their personal interests. This exhibition provides students with the opportunity to present their work mid-year and gain valuable feedback from viewers before completing their portfolios.
