Joan Ruppert | Making the Cut

diptych of vintage black and white photo next to a collaged photo of the same person wearing a dressing, standing and posing

On view March 28 - April 26, 2026

Opening Reception Sunday, March 29, 2026, 1-4 pm

Joan Tortorici Ruppert is a television producer and media content creator based in Glenview, IL. Her exhibition “Making the Cut” showcases live-action collages that combine characters from her late father’s vintage negatives together with contemporary environments. Each new collage is organic, unpredictable, and unrepeatable, disrupting time and space to write new chapters in her family’s story.
