Course Description:
Includes a comprehensive review of tools and techniques for beginning woodworkers. Hand and Power tools, joinery, and finishes with be explored. You are encouraged to purchase and fabricate at least one woodworking project. More advanced students are welcome to join to work on current projects as well as begin new ones approved by the instructor. Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials including wood, glass, hardware, and any other items needed for their piece[s].

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops. A $75 Independent Study membership is required to participate in the Independent Study Program. The Evanston resident discount no longer applies.
