A graduate of Duquesne University. Studied Sumi-e with Motoi Oi and Evalyn Aaron; Chinese painting at the School of Chinese Brushwork in New York City; and continued her studies in Chicago with Monica Liu and Fuan Xin.

Teaching experience includes Highland Park High School’s Adult Program, the Botanic Garden of the Chicago Horticultural Society and New Trier’s Extension. Member of Sumi-e Society of America and Sumi-e Midwest. Exhibits regionally.
