General Information
Party space is available for up to 2 hours and for a maximum of 20 participants. Parties where the number of participants exceeds 15 is an additional $30. This additional fee will cover the cost of a teacher’s assistant, a teacher’s assistant must be present to help facilitate parties including more than 15 participants.
Due to space and time, we prefer a party be held on a Saturday or Sunday from 1:30pm-3:30pm as the center closes at 4pm on weekends. This ensures that the party will be cleaned up and prepared to exit the building by the closing time.
The standard rate for a drawing, painting, mixed media, or craft project (all materials are included) is $280. The standard rate for a ceramics party is $300. Ceramics pieces must go through a firing process and the finished projects will be ready for pick-up within 2-3 weeks after the event.
Screen Printing on T-Shirts and other parties requiring more specialized materials are priced at a per-guest rate which varies according to the number of guests and the cost of materials.

Parties!
Art parties are great for any occasion and for any age group. The Evanston Art Center has a full kitchen, which is available for refrigerating sodas and birthday treats. Our experienced staff of teaching artists can customize an art lesson for any event. Children can create an art birthday party theme based on their own personal interests. Projects are geared for both fun and skill building.
Planning Your art Activity
For preschool age children
For children age 3 and 4, we recommend a 1.5 hour party with 3 or 4 activities planned to keep little hands and minds busy and active. Collage activities, sponge printing, coloring and watercolor painting are all great for this age group. These projects can be designed around any theme from outer space to farm animals.
For ages 5-7
Drawing, painting, cereal box puppet building, mixed media collage, ceramics and pop-up books are all great party activities for this age group. Learn to draw, paint or sculpt dinosaurs, pets, fairytale characters and more!
For ages 8-12
For kids with more technical skills we recommend drawing, painting, ceramics, sewing, and super sculpy clay modeling. Sock puppets and sock monkeys are also super fun to make at parties!
For teens
Teens always have fun at our screen printing on T-shirt parties. Tie-Dye parties, ceramics and upper level drawing and painting parties.
For Adults
Adult Parties are unique and require more preparation and therefore pricing is on a case per case basis.
