Course Description:

The world around us—flowers, tree bark, and fruits—can be used as natural dyes. Explore this incredible process of natural dyeing (e.g. Weld, Madder, Logwood) step-by-step. Apply a simple resist of Shibori (pleating, twisting, stitching, etc.) and mordant to create wider range of colors. Experiment first on small fabric pieces as samples, and then produce a large piece at home. Review the supply list online.
