Course Description:

Explore figure drawing fundamentals: proportions, gesture, anatomy, line, shape, composition and mass/value, while working in dry media such as graphite, charcoal, and pastel. Study both classical and contemporary examples that range from Durer to Diebenkorn. Work with the live model during half of the sessions, using casts for the other half. For the first class, bring graphite pencils, ink pens and newsprint. Skill Level: Intermediate

  • Face coverings required throughout the duration of class.

  • Includes COVID-19 cleaning fee.
