Course Description:
Acid dyes are lightfast, washfast, and simple to use – unlike Kool-Aid and food coloring. Learn to prepare the yarn, calculate dye amounts, make dye solutions, steam set the dye, and try different techniques on small hanks of yarn. Class includes undyed wool and all dye materials – you will bring additional materials.
