Patsy Welch

Patsy has taught throughout the Chicagoland area, including the Chicago Botanic Garden, Jane Adams Hull House, and Highland Park Art Center.  She has exhibited in France and Italy as well as the United States.

Patsy is inspired by roaming around in New Mexican landscapes.

Patsy’s teaching style:

She feels her job as a teacher is to bring out whatever painter lurks inside each student, no matter what their individual mode of expression might be. This calls for plenty of individual attention. Patsy exposes students to as many techniques as possible so they can settle on those that best suit their painting needs.

It has a wonderful creative atmosphere that encourages students to share their work and learn from other students.
