Course Description:

This class will explore a variety of experimental printmaking techniques and mixed-media approaches. Students are supported to mix the techniques we learn into their personal practice, mixed media and interdisciplinary approaches and experimentation are encouraged. Play and exploration are emphasized while learning about a variety of techniques and approaches.

Students may choose to focus on one technique/medium throughout the session or explore a multitude. The instructor will demonstrate various materials and techniques and discuss examples throughout the session (approximately biweekly) - students have the option to pick and choose which approaches they will explore.

Whether students prefer to engage in free exploration without a predetermined outcome or work towards a more sustained final piece, all styles of artistic practice are supported. Join us for a journey where experimentation meets individual expression.
