One day: Sunday, September 30, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
EAC is fortunate to have Tim Kowalczyk demonstrate and teach his slab building techniques using paper clay, creating ceramic objects that mimic the appearance of cardboard and tin cans. After sharing his work, he will discuss the process of creating images using computer programs and demonstrate underglaze silkscreen printing. Learn about Kowalczyk’s Xerox underglaze transfers, single-color underglaze transfers and 2-color underglaze transfers to push your creativity in your ceramics practice. You will have the opportunity to experiment with Kowalczyk’s clay body and techniques yourself.
