Tuesday 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Ten-week class beginning January 9, 2018
Designed for photographers of all levels, this class will explore alternative ways to create photographic prints. Students will learn a variety of printing methods ranging from printing on plants to cyanotypes (what blueprints originated from) to working with fine metals ground down to liquid solutions. All processes will be UV sensitive – meaning no darkroom is necessary – and we will be using the sun to create exposures! Students will gain an understanding of the history of photography through experimenting with processes developed in the 1800s.
