Welcome to the Evanston Art Center! People of all ages and levels of arts experience come to our Art Center to engage in art activities: classes, exhibitions, artists' and curators' talks, family programs and special events. The atmosphere is friendly, open and fun and everyone is encouraged to let their imaginations run wild to access their creativity and refine their skills. 

The art instruction is kept at a very high level thanks to a faculty with advanced degrees from the very best art schools in the country and the world, such as Cranbrook Academy of Art, Kansas City Art Institute, School of The Art Institute of Chicago and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris.

The exhibition program is regarded as one of the best in the midwest showcasing the works of emerging and established contemporary artists and curators from around the region and occasionally, from international locations. 

Our community partnerships have grown exponentially in the last few years. You'll find Art Center organized activities in after-school programs, hospitals and community and civic centers.
